Meet Dr. Kennedy

Originally from Columbus, Georgia, Dr. Kennedy made Charleston home shortly after graduating from veterinary school.

She attended Auburn University for her undergraduate education before earning her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine. During veterinary school, Dr. Kennedy had the opportunity to spend time in Australia and New Zealand working alongside mixed-species veterinarians. This experience strengthened her love for caring for animals of all shapes and sizes and helped her discover a particular passion for general practice medicine.

Dr. Kennedy enjoys the variety that general practice provides and loves building relationships with pets and the people who care for them.

Outside of the hospital, she enjoys exploring everything Charleston has to offer, spending time at the beach, catching live music, and relaxing at home with her black cat, Tater.
